Empowering women through self-help groups
RICM helps destitute women who are heavily burdened with high-interest rate loans, and debts borrowed from private finance agencies (as they do not meet/qualify for regular loans from banks).
These women often find themselves with no hope for the future and will not be able to settle the loans from the private finance agencies and will be burdened forever.
RICM helps them by providing microloans with the help of nationalized banks to settle down the loans from private finance agencies, teaching them new skills according to their ability and interest and helping them to start small businesses such as making food products, detergents, shopping bags and start a new life.
This program has created a great impact in the communities, transformed lives and helped RICM to reach out people with the Gospel.
